IMPORT OPERATION SPECIALIST (Sea Freight)

As an Import Operator, you are responsible to manage all day-to-day activities for the import operation. Your responsibility is to communicate with Sea freight carriers, co-loaders, and other vendors and making sure of a smooth operation. You will provide solutions in case of any discrepancies, holds or delays in the movements of goods and will communicate with Customer.

• Responsible for every stage of the import operation
• Providing domestic and international verbal and written communication related to the operation
• Arrange for transportation/ shipping documentation and oversee the scheduling and dispatching of goods
• Communicate and coordinate with Sea freight carriers, co-loaders, customs brokers and other service providers
• Resolve problems and provide ongoing support
• Communicate with clients on the status of their shipment
• Proactive response to service issues

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
• 5 years’ experience in the “Sea Freight” forwarding,
• Operational and market expertise of sea freight
• University Graduate (Foreign trade, International Business, Transportation, Logistics is preferred)
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to effectively handle multiple simultaneous task
