JOB DESCRIPTION
Fratelli Cosulich Singapore finance team oversee the management and general accounting, treasury and fiscal operations of a set of entities, established in Asia (mainly Singapore and Hong Kong), part of the Fratelli Cosulich Group.
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support and oversee the above operations, including support to a team of 3 accountants.
The role will be reporting to the Fratelli Cosulich Singapore Finance Manager.
ACTIVITIES
- Review and approve monthly GST report that is prepared by an accountant
- Reconciling monthly balance sheet accounts to process rebilling to third parties and support the accountants when there are questions arise
- Prepare FRS116 schedules when there is lease renewal
- Conduct regular ledger maintenance
- Prepare reports for intercompany rebilling
- Account payables and receivable for Singapore and Hong Kong entities
- Assist and guide the daily account operation for the assigned entities such as Bali, Middle East
- Work closely with the team of accountants and provide support by addressing transaction-related queries as needed
- Assist with audit and taxes (such as ECI filing, Corporate Tax filing, withholding tax filing)
- Check and, if needed, approve the monthly expense claims prepared by HR and ensure costs are allocated properly.
- Maintain relationships with Auditors, Bankers and third parties by supporting the Finance Manager them promptly with their requests.
- Assist in month end closing and year end closing of the account
- Review Fixed assets schedule and monitor the correctness of the file.
- Maintain proper filing of Loan Schedules for Finance Manager review
- Monitor bank facilities renewal date and maintain proper filings
- Support the Finance Manager, as needed, in the preparation of the assigned entities Prepare Financial Statements
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 5 years of exprience as an accountant or auditor
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with general ledger operations and administration processes ( i.e. order to cash, procure to pay, payroll, financial reporting, etc)
- Accuracy and attention to detail, solid work ethic
- Certification (i.e. ACCA): qualified or part qualified preferred
