Pesto Sea Group, a registered ship and yacht company with over 60 years of experience, is looking for a Yachting Agent assistant to join the team starting from January 2025. 

 

The Yacht Agency in La Spezia is ready to support captains, owners and shipyards with a complete and efficient array of services, offering an exclusive personal experience specifically tailored to clients’ needs and expectations. 

 

Facing the biggest challenges in the yachting industry and exceeding the expectations of our clients are our main goals. 

ACTIVITIES

  • Handle all crew and guests’ enquiries with the highest level of standards and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Relations with authorities such as the Port Authority, Customs,Coastguard etc.
  • Handle customs formalities and logistics for yacht spares.
  • Organise and manage yachts services during their stop in the port of La Spezia, responding to all requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and yachting practices.
  • Providing assistance and support for both technical or pleasure calls with guests on board.
  • Booking flights, hotels, assist with port and immigration formalities, coordinate maintenance works on board, book guided tours, hotels and restaurants booking to name few of the services requested.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1/2 years of experience in the maritime industry
  • Proficiency in Excel and the Office suite.
  • Familiarity with the Coastguard PMIS system (preferred).
  • Curiosity and passion for yachting industry and work in an international environment.
  • Problem solving attitude, ability to deal with different topics and tasks every day and a strong customer orientation.
  • Excellent English communication skills B2+ (you'll work in a bilingual environment).
