Accounting & Finance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting & Finance Specialist to join our team in Karakoy, Istanbul.

• Conducting reconciliation discussions for domestic customer collections and supplier payments,
• Checking and recording bank transactions, current account checks, and cash transactions,
• Preparing monthly and quarterly CAR (Customer Aging), SAR (Supplier Aging), BCL, and EI reports,
• Managing and submitting e-Ledger (e-Defter) processes,
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements,
• Supporting the execution of general accounting activities in compliance with applicable legislation, accounting principles, and regulations,
• Supporting the preparation of accounting entries in accordance with the chart of accounts,
• Preparing and reviewing VAT and Stamp Tax declarations and VAT refund lists,
• Managing invoicing and payment processes,
• Preparing and presenting financial statements,
• Having knowledge of general accounting, accounting operations, finance, financial accounting, and basic accounting principles,
• Performing necessary checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

• Bachelor’s degree from a relevant university department,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Strong knowledge of general accounting and relevant legislation,
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position,
• Proficiency in MS Office applications,
• Preferably experience in the logistics/forwarding sector,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills,
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
